To honor the lemon-laden tree on our patio, I have spent the past few weeks focused on Meyer lemons as a key ingredient in all dishes. For last night’s dinner, I chose lemon curd for dessert.
Last Saturday, Paul and I decided to forgo a hike in Marin in favor of exploring our own community of Oakland. I was ready to try la buena comida of East Oakland and visit El Ojo de Agua taco truck in Fruitvale. We toured International Boulevard, shopped at Mi Pueblo grocery, and gained more appreciation for our community.
